Here is a "PDF" from "CAPS" with some teams you may want to contact to make your cool fire feature! Do not contact "CAPS" but rather contact the team or coyright holder for permission. "AGENTS" will most likely try to charge you for the use of the logo.
The following photos where done individually so that the customer could approve or change his color options in their respective positions.
A dream fire pit, come true!
Our customer Bill, had us provide him with our famous propane system, and used for his main filler Starfire Base Glass and Black Base Glass FireGlass. Inside the logo he used Red Opal Topping, Lapis Blue Topping, Marigold Yellow Topping and Alabaster Topping.
Below, the black and white image is a .DXF file that is used as a template for the metal cut-out. And next to it is a picture with our proposed glass and crystal colors specified. These are drawings that the customer sent us. Their logo was created from a .DFX file that was ans will be provided to you from the team or copyright holder. Again, we do not make or sell the copyright logos but we help do everything else.
Now the colors are added to the Cardinal cut-out...
The pictures are sent to the client to approve the colors.
We then proposed a few options for the background filler. In order, Blue Gray Base Glass, Cobalt Blue Base Glass, White Sand, and Black Magic.
Here the cut out is installed and completed.
And here is the cookie cutter installed.
A custom "S" for a fire pit. The FireGlass used was Starfire Base Glass.
These can be made at home with very little effort. Our customer made these himself! We will even give you the metal, provided you purchase the rest of the materials.
A custom "B" for a fire pit.
We laid out some V Blue Reflective Base Glass FireGlass for the customer. Note, the color variance in the FireGlass, this shift in color is based on using the camera's flash and not using it. Also the lighting source effects the color of the glass, take a look of the final photo under natural lighting; looks like a different Blue.
This cut-out design was brought to us by Nick Saraniti, whose large fire pit was made a whole lot more interesting after the custom cut out was installed.
Nick bought some V-Blue Base Glass for the center and used Marigold Yellow Opal Topping and Roma Red Topper for the surrounding flames.
Our customer Jan, came to us with a pattern design that stemmed from her beach towel.
Once we get approval from the cardboard mock-up we have the pattern cut with a water jet cutter, in this case we bend the metal in the shop.
Below a crushed lave base beneath the double Stainless Steel Burner Ring. And a vibrant layer of Azurlite Base Glass FireGlass.
The cut-out is then filled in with 2 separate Toppings, Pimento Red Opal Topping, Tangerine Orange Opal Topping.

Our newest customer is "Google" Here is the CAD drawing they sent us. We fabricated it with 1/2" aluminum. How did they find us you ask? They GOOGLED' us! Of course!
Below is the aluminum frame work that will eventually get covered with FireGlass. For the sake presenting the logo properly we poured our crushed lava to enhance the colors. We used a combination of FireGlass and Toppings.
The Gray Google logo above is the Cut-Out, which though not used for the fire pit can have further application, if you so wish.
Finished! Now we send it off to be installed in Mountain View California to be installed in front of corporate GOOGLE! The fire pit also will include an electronic ignition as well. We wil provide all pictures after the installation from XL Construction.

Here is the Design that was sent to us before we started working on it. We will walk you through the process as explained to us by the client. Now for the construction and pictures...
The following photos were sent to us by our client. A step by step demonstrating how he built his custom fire pit. The metal cut-out comes later. But please follow along as he explains...
I had my local welding fabricator build the base out of ¼” square tube for the circles and 1” square tube for the legs and attached some decorative feet on it. Also attached some L brackets at the top to install the granite top with. I then had my local granite company cut a ¾” thick 52” diameter circle with a 28” opening in the center to accommodate the pan.
Fabricator also built a 28” diameter by 4” deep pan out of 16ga steel. Later we decided to add a ¾” lip around the top edge.
